The Role of Polylactic Acid (PLA):

Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a biodegradable thermoplastic polyester derived from renewable resources like corn starch, cassava roots, or sugarcane. While commercially branded as an eco-friendly carry bag material, PLA is non-recyclable in standard municipal recycling facilities because it requires industrial composting units and ruins standard plastic recycling batches. GEOWASOL's patented thermo-mechanical process successfully blends PLA with industrial RDF and metallized MLP, engineering ultra-resilient composite pallets with zero splintering and a 50+ year operational lifespan.
